“You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” -Galatians 5:13-14

The Sharing Garden
“People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God” - Luke 13:29
This project began with the vision to grow and make accessible nutrient-dense foods for all in the Amesbury community. We started with just a couple small beds behind the church, of which has significantly expanded into several beds spread across our church’s campus. Our mission is to let this garden be a signpost pointing towards the reality of the Kingdom of God in our midst. We emphasize sustainability and responsibility among other Kingdom values, such as generosity, community-building, and embodiment. We are working towards seeing this garden’s yield be large enough to host regular cost-free farmers markets. Stay tuned for volunteer opportunities on the horizon!
