Home Groups at All Saints’ Anglican Church connect us in relationships where we are formed together in the character and skills of Jesus, to do the work God has given us to do in the world. While Sunday services invite us into an ever-deepening devotion to God as the gathered church, mid-week groups develop us individually and corporately as disciples growing together in the way of Jesus.
Home Groups are. . .
. . . primarily about CONNECTION: to pray for and encourage each other to be doers of the Word (Ephesians 6:18; James 1:22-25)
. . . for anyone & everyone attending All Saints’ Anglican Church, Amesbury
. . . a next step that we urge every believer to take beyond Sunday worship
. . . made up of 6 to 12 people, meeting weekly in a home context
. . . guided by thoughtful discussion questions that will help us connect our Sunday worship experience with our rest-of-the-week daily lives
. . . where we find “ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works” as an ongoing lifestyle (Hebrews 10:26, New Living Translation)

What’s the benefit of being in a group?
Spiritual Growth happens best when people consistently connect in significant relationships for spiritual purposes outside Sunday worship.
What can I expect to happen in a group, generally?
Groups gather for an agreed-upon time frame (usually 90 minutes). Members greet and encourage one another, share what they’ve prepared together, pray for one another, and consider how in the coming week they’ll act on what God has revealed in the meeting.
Can I try one out before committing?
Yes. During the first 3 weeks of a season, you can opt out of the group, no questions asked. Join another group at the start of the next Season.
How long is the commitment?
Each Season runs 10 to 12 weeks. Ten sessions are planned to take 12 weeks, to allow for group schedule flexibility. At the end of each Season, you’ll have the opportunity to stop or to change groups.
Will my group get broken up after each Season?
No. Natural changes in group composition may happen as people need to come and go, but groups will not be artificially subdivided. If you like your group and your schedule works, you may choose to stay together Season by Season.
What’s the time-frame for each Season?
Fall Sept-Dec 09/23 to 12/15
Winter Jan-Apr 01/13 to 04/13
Spring Apr-July 04/28 to 07/06
